Description:

As a Private Wealth Manager - U.S. & Global HNW Clients, you will lead investment strategy and portfolio management for high-net-worth clients, provide strategic wealth planning and cross-border advisory services, oversee regulatory compliance and account operations, and represent the firm while maintaining strong client and partner relationships.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead investment strategy and asset allocation for a global book of high-net-worth (HNW) client portfolios;
  • Conduct macroeconomic, industry, and sector analysis to inform portfolio decisions;
  • Participate in the firm’s investment committee to shape firm-wide portfolio decisions;
  • Design and maintain investment policies, product selection standards, and allocation models for client and fund-level strategies;
  • Oversee portfolio and fund-level investment decisions, trade execution, and rebalancing across custodial platforms, ensuring alignment with client objectives, risk profiles, and investment policy;
  • Ensure adherence to U.S. and international regulatory standards, including SEC, KYC, AML, FATCA requirements and applicable international regulatory requirements;
  • Advise clients on portfolio strategy, financial planning, and insurance-based wealth protection;
  • Manage client onboarding and coordinate account operations with custodians;
  • Supervise and mentor junior advisors and analysts to uphold high standards of advisory and operational excellence;
  • Prepare customized investment proposals, presentations, and performance reports for clients and prospective clients;
  • Represent the firm at investment forums, industry events, and client meetings, including international travel;
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with clients, partners, and service providers across multiple jurisdictions, serving as a key point of contact for cross-border wealth management needs.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a closely related field (Foreign equivalent degree is acceptable);
  • At least 7 years as a financial manager (investment and insurance management); financial and insurance advisor.
  • Licenses and certifications required: FINRA Series 65; FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam; Life, Health & Variable Contracts Insurance License; Active progress toward CFA (Level I passed);
  • Experience in portfolio management and trading platforms such as Charles Schwab (iRebal), Interactive Brokers (TWS);
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools such as RightCapital and eMoney Advisor;
  • Familiar with insurance systems like Pacific Life’s SS&C-powered CRM;
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI;
  • Domestic and international travel required 1-2 times per month (approx. 15-20% of job function).
