Advisory Board

Mr. Rosenberg has over 40 years of experience in banking management, government, information systems and the legal professions. He has worked as a national bank examiner at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency at the US Department of Treasury and was an operations specialist at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation/Resolution Trust Corporation. He has held the position of Director at Marquis Bank in North Miami Beach, Florida and Beach Bank in Miami Beach, Florida. He is currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of the Home Federal Bank of Hollywood in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Mr. Rosenberg has a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami School of Law and a Business Administration degree from Miami School of Business Administration.

Mr. Coffey is a partner at Coffey Burlington, PL, concentrating on complex litigation at trial and appellate levels in both federal and state courts. He is a former U.S. Attorney, Southern District of Florida (1993-1996); and most recently Chair, Southern District Conference, Florida Federal Judicial Nominating Commission (April 2009 – present).

A frequent teacher and guest lecturer, he has been a Guest Legal Analyst providing legal commentary for international networks: CNN International, Telemundo, Univision, Canadian Broadcasting Company; national networks: CNBC, CNN, CNN Headline News, FOX, MSNBC and NBC; and local television: ABC-10, CBS-4, América TeVe, Telemundo-51, Univision-23, TeleMiami. Currently, he appears as a legal analyst and consultant for NBC, MSNBC and Telemundo. As a teacher, Mr. Coffey is an adjunct faculty member for University of Miami School of Law, Florida Constitutional Law (2008 – present), Florida International University (Administrative Law 2011), and Trial Advocacy Program (1991 – 1993); and a Lecturer in trial skills and substantive law for The Florida Bar, The Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, Dade County Bar Association, University of Miami School of Law, Professional Education Systems, Inc., National Business Institute, Inc. and CLE International, Inc.

He is annually recognized as Florida Trend’s Legal Elite, Florida “Super Lawyer,” and South Florida Legal Guide’s “Top Lawyers” and recognized by the National Law Journal as one of its Lawyers of the Year for 2000, as Member of the Gore Legal Team.

Mr. Parsiani is a multilingual professional with more than a decade of experience in management and leadership roles. He is focused on contribution and serving as a unique and powerful asset while fully committed to the Fund’s objectives and results. A big picture thinker who draws out the best of people, Mr. Parsiani is a powerful bridge-builder who resolves conflict with diplomacy and integrity. Open-minded and adaptive, Mr. Parsiani’s strengths include the ability to establish rapport quickly, influence and inspire others, predict future trends by making uncommon connections, build loyal and effective teams by respecting different points of view, and accommodate and embrace change by inspiring trust.

Mr. Weyts is a Partner at NEXT Legal law firm; he is a head of the firm’s M&A and private equity practice with more than 18 years of corporate experience, including mergers and acquisitions, private securities offerings, private investment funds, cross-border financings, and real estate investments. He takes a pragmatic approach to structure complex business transactions and brings unique international business savviness to advising numerous mid-market companies, family businesses, and private investors. Mr. Weyts also advises investment funds and ultra-high net worth clients on their investments in the United States, with a particular focus on real estate assets. He is a member of the board of LatinFinance, an international financial media business based in Miami.

Prior to moving to Miami, Mr. Weyts was a Wall Street corporate attorney with Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York (2001-2008). While on Wall Street, Mr. Weyts worked on emblematic transactions such as a $1.8 billion equity offering and a $500 million bond offering by ICICI Bank Ltd., India’s largest private bank, which was named Best Offering of the Year by FinanceAsia.

Mr. Weyts holds a law degree from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium (cum laude) and has a JD from Columbia Law School (Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar) and an MBA from Columbia Business School (Dean’s List). He speaks 6 languages including Spanish, French, German, Dutch and Italian.

Managing Board

Ron Szukala is the Credit Director of Imperial Fund. Mr. Szukala has more than 23 years of experience in the mortgage industry specializing in mortgage daily operations, technology applications and compliance. He has developed and managed the necessary departments to originate, process, underwrite, close, implement and maintain policies and procedures to comply with all Federal and state regulations including the CFPB regulations for disclosure rules and mortgage lending guidelines. Prior to Imperial, Mr. Szukala was the director of operations at Watson and Resmac, served as an asset manager at Fannie Mae for 3 years, as well as an underwriting and operations manager at Lydian Data Services and Citi. Mr. Szukala holds a BS in Economics from University of Buffalo.

Victor Kuznetsov is a founder and lead investor of Imperial Fund with over 12 years of financial and asset management experience. Mr. Kuznetsov is responsible for the Fund’s day-to-day supervisory activities, credit strategy, relationship with main counterparties and investment portfolio. Previously Mr. Kuznetsov was the asset manager for a private equity firm in the gold mining industry for 8 years and has substantial experience in managing corporate assets, financial investments and real estate management. He also participated in a merger and IPO of a public company traded at LSE. Mr. Kuznetsov holds an MBA degree from University of Maryland University College where he was also a Member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. He earned a BS in Management as well as a Masters degree in Finance from University of Maryland University College.

Max Slyusarchuk is co-founder of Imperial Fund and a founder and CEO of A&D Mortgage with over 20 years of mortgage and banking industry experience. Mr. Slyusarchuk is also a shareholder and Vice Chairman of the Board of Home Federal Bank of Hollywood. Mr. Slyusarchuk is responsible for the day-to-day activities, strategic planning, business development and building relationships with key partners. Mr. Slyusarchuk has successfully launched and raised capital for multiple projects across a wide spectrum of industries, including financial and construction segments. He has experience in both private equity investments and portfolio management for institutional and private sector clients in Eastern Europe and the U.S. Mr. Slyusarchuk holds a BS in Economics from MIM University.

Mr. Nabi is an Executive Director at Imperial Fund and a senior asset backed manager with more than 25 years of experience structuring deals, driving business development, mitigating risk, and supporting new products in the fixed income markets. He has focused on securitization and has extensive experience with both the credit and banking aspects of these instruments. Prior to joining Imperial Fund, Mr. Nabi was the CFO and Head of Capital Markets of Funding U, a FinTech based student loan originator. He joined Funding U after working more than eight years at Cantor Fitzgerald in their Debt Capital Markets Division (Mortgage and Asset Backed Finance – SPG Group). Prior to joining Cantor, Mr. Nabi was a Senior Managing Director and Group Head of Assured Guaranty Corporation’s Consumer and Mortgage Backed Securitization Group. He led a team responsible for underwriting more than $20 Billion of securitization for RMBS, ABS, CMBS, and student loans over a two year period. He was a key member of their management team and was appointed to the firm’s portfolio risk management committee (PRMC). Mr. Nabi previously spent more than 10 years at Ambac Assurance Corporation as Managing Director and Group Head of their consumer and mortgage backed securities business. He also held various positions at Financial Security Assurance, Deloitte & Touch, and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Nabi received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Wisconsin.

Lana Izgarsheva is a Compliance Officer and Administrative Director at Imperial Fund overseeing the Legal, HR, Support and Marketing. Ms. Izgarsheva’s experience consists of 18+ years in the mortgage business with several positions at United Financing and then as president at A&D Financial. Ms. Izgarsheva holds a BS in Political Science and a BS in International Business from FAU and a law degree from VSU.

Constantin Anosov is a VP of Imperial Fund with over 9 years of banking, finance, asset and investment management experience. Mr. Anosov’s experience started as a financial advisor for an institutional broker dealer company and then as a director of a private banking division for several years where he was responsible for investment strategy, investor relationships and financial reporting. After successful experience at larger companies, Mr. Anosov was offered an executive investment manager role at a private equity firm, followed by an offer to participate in setting up the Imperial Fund and grow the mortgage operations at A&D Mortgage. Mr. Anosov holds a Master of Science in Economics and Financial Management from ESST University.

Irina Chulanova is the financial manager at Imperial Fund with over 17 years of financial experience. Ms. Chulanova is responsible for all areas relating to corporate financial reporting, communication with internal and external partners and overseeing all company activity and investments. Previously Ms. Chulanova was a financial controller in Danone International – a world recognized public company, where she obtained great experience in budgeting, analysis and financial technics. Ms. Chulanova holds a Master of Science in Economics and Management from BMST University.

Elena Kuznetsova is the Operations Manager at Imperial Fund with over 10 years of experience in business development and relationship management with key accounts. Ms. Kuznetsova is responsible for day-to-day fund activity and relationships with partners. Previously Ms. Kuznetsova served as a manager of business development at Greif Inc. – a global leading industrial company providing commercial and contract management support to ensure commercial interests are optimized for the business. Ms. Kuznetsova holds a BS in Economics from MSU.

Nick Avgustinov is the IT Director at Imperial Fund with over 14 years of IT development and core system management experience. Mr. Avgustinov served as a consultant at Celltick Technologies and was the Senior Manager for Accenture Europe for 10 years, where he managed an international clients group and was a leader in top client implementation projects of core-banking system solutions, M&A process and system merging, optimization process and structuring corporate level software systems.
