Managing Board

Max Slyusarchuk is a Founder of Imperial Fund, with over 20 years of mortgage and banking industry experience. Mr. Slyusarchuk is also a Founder and CEO of A&D Mortgage and Member of the Board of Directors at Anchor Bank in Palm Beach, Florida. He supervises all day-to-day activities and strategic planning of the mortgage origination business and is responsible for business development and maintaining relationships with key partners. Mr. Slyusarchuk has raised capital and launched multiple projects across a wide spectrum of industries, including the financial and construction sectors. He has experience in both private equity investments and portfolio management for institutional and private sector clients in Eastern Europe and the US. Mr. Slyusarchuk holds a BS in Economics from MIM University.

Marc Pfeffer is a member of Capital Markets team at Imperial Fund. He has more than 30 years of experience in the investment management industry . Prior to joining Imperial Fund, he was the Chief Investment Officer of CLS Investments where he led the portfolio management team and oversaw all investment operations at CLS, including investment philosophy process, positioning, and performance. Prior to this, Mr. Pfeffer was a Portfolio Manager of the CLS Flexible Income Fund and managed the CLS Active Income X Strategy as well as the ETF strategies. He also managed individual municipal bond portfolios for the CLS Master Manager Strategy. Prior to CLS, Mr. Pfeffer was the CIO/CFO at Milestone Capital Management. He began his career at Goldman Sachs & Co. where he was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager in the asset management division.

Victor Kuznetsov is a Founder of Imperial Fund, with over 15 years of financial and investment management experience. Mr. Kuznetsov is responsible for the management of all fund activities, including operations, capital markets, and investor relations. Previously, Mr. Kuznetsov spearheaded investment efforts at a private equity firm focused on the commodities sector. Over the course of 8 years at the firm, he managed corporate assets and financial and real estate investments. During this time period, he also played a key role in the merger and IPO of a public company that was listed on the London Stock Exchange. Mr. Kuznetsov holds an MBA degree from the University of Maryland where he was a Member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. He earned a BS in Management as well as a Masters degree in Finance from the University of Maryland.

Anya Gezunterman is a Director at Imperial Fund responsible for business development and marketing effort. Anya has more than 20-year experience in capital markets, with a focus on marketing and structuring equity and fund-linked derivatives and structured products. Previously, Anya worked at several Wall Street financial institutions, including Royal Bank of Scotland and Dresdner Bank, where she was involved in collateralized lending/fund derivatives space, providing financing to high net-worth and institutional investors, collateralized by portfolios of both liquid and illiquid assets – public and private debt and equities, real estate, asset backed securities, receivables, and other asset classes. Anya started her career in Debt Capital Markets at Deutsche Bank, where assisted US corporate clients on restructuring and refinancing outstanding debt. Anya earned a BA from Brandeis University, and an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Jared Neale is responsible for investment portfolio analysis, RMBS structuring, financial modelling and IR. Before joining Imperial Fund, Mr. Neale was responsible for portfolio analysis/reporting and IR at a Family Office/Investment Advisor with over $2 billion AUM focused on private equity, venture cap and hedge fund investments. Mr. Neale earned his BSBA in Economics and Information Technology at the University of Central Florida where he graduated president’s honor roll. He began his career in Insurance attaining his 2-15 “life including var. annuities & health” with the Florida Department of Financial Services.
